About This Role
Bayse is building Africa’s largest prediction market exchange. Growth here is a serious function, not a support role. You will be responsible for building and scaling a growth engine that is both deeply analytical and relentlessly creative. This means you can design a strategy, run experiments with scientific discipline, and also create attention and momentum through unconventional, high-signal ideas.
We are looking for someone who is an out-of-the-box thinker, extremely data-driven, and creative. Someone who understands how attention works, has strong social media instincts, and can turn distribution into a repeatable system. You will own performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, and retention frameworks, and you will be measured by real outcomes: CAC, conversion, activation, retention, revenue, and growth rate.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Bayse’s growth engine: Build and execute a growth roadmap across acquisition, activation, retention, reactivation, and revenue, with clear targets, timelines, and accountability.
- Performance marketing and paid acquisition: Plan, launch, and optimize ad campaigns across channels (Meta, X, TikTok, Google, others). Own creatives, targeting, attribution, CAC, ROAS, and scaling decisions.
- Insanely creative attention strategies: Develop unconventional growth ideas and campaigns that drive attention and conversation. Build playbooks for virality, culture, and community-driven distribution.
- Social media growth and playbooks: Own social strategy and execution, content systems, posting cadence, narrative arcs, creator collaborations, and performance tracking. Build repeatable playbooks that compound reach and conversion.
- Funnel and conversion optimization: Work closely with product and design to improve onboarding and activation flows. Reduce drop-off, improve trade conversion, and optimize the path from interest to first trade and repeat trading.
- Lifecycle marketing and retention: Build lifecycle journeys (email, push, SMS, in-app) and retention frameworks (segmentation, triggers, behavioral messaging) that increase repeat usage and habit formation.
- Experimentation at speed: Run structured experiments weekly across ads, landing pages, onboarding, social content, referrals, partnerships, and lifecycle. Prioritize with rigor and scale what works.
- Analytics, reporting, and insights: Build dashboards and reporting routines. Own cohort analysis, segmentation, attribution, and channel performance reviews. Turn insights into decisions fast.
- Creative testing system: Build a high-velocity creative pipeline: hooks, angles, scripts, landing pages, UGC briefs, offers, and iterations, backed by performance data.
- Growth operations: Build documentation, playbooks, and processes that make growth repeatable. Coordinate cross-functional execution with design, product, engineering, and support.
About You
- 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or product-led growth roles, with a strong track record of measurable outcomes.
- Deeply data-driven. You are fluent in funnels, cohorts, attribution, CAC/ROAS, and you can translate numbers into clear actions and priorities.
